BTS BIOGRAPHY

BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄 소년단), Bangtan Sonyeondan means “bulletproof boy scouts” also known as “Beyond The Scene”. This boyband is under Big Hit entertainment that debuted 8 years ago on 13 June 2013. This boyband has 7 members which are:

1.                                  Kim nam-joon 김남준

a.       Kim nam joon is the leader of BTS, he’s also a rapper in BTS

b.      He was born on 12 September 1994 Ilsan, Gyeonggi

2.                                 Kim seok-jin 김석진

a.       Kim seok jin is the oldest member of BTS

b.      He was born on 4 December 1992 Anyang, Gyeonggi

3.                              Min yoon-gi 민윤기

a.       He is known as the lead rapper in BTS, and he is the producer, he makes music for his group.

b.      He was born on 9 March 1993 Daegu

4.                              Jung ho-seok 정호석

a.       Jung ho seok also known as J-hope is a main dancer, rapper and sub vocalist in BTS

b.      He was born on 18 February 1994 Ilgok, Gwangju

5.                              Park jimin 박지민

a.       Jimin was born on 13 October 1995, Geumsa Busan

b.      He is a main dancer and lead vocalist

6.                              Kim tae-hyung 김태형

a.       He was born on 30 December 1995

b.      He is a lead dancer, sub vocalist, and visual

7.                              Jeon jung-kook 전정국

a.       He is the youngest member of BTS he was born on 1 September 1997 Busan

b.      He is a main vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper, center, and maknae

This boy band has a fandom named ARMY. BTS logo is a bullet proof vest and ARMY logo is a shield same as its name. ARMY stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. BTS owned 14 album, mini album, full album, special album, and their debut album. They also owned more than 250 songs and solos. BTS won 438 awards and 616 nominations since 2013 until 2021, BTS is the first boyband from Korea who enter Grammy. BTS was nominated in Grammy awards 2021. BTS is the first boyband group who enter the billboard. BTS won 4 awards from billboard music award. BTS was invited to deliver a speech at UNICEF to stop children abuse and to love themself based on their album

Why this group inspire me is because the real life as a Korean is not like when we watch K-drama, Korea has a high standard and it is hard to survive with high standard of beauty, skills, etc. Even though BTS is well known all around the world but not a few who don’t like BTS but still they survive for 8 years of sweet and bitter moment. They started their career with lots of hate comment, hard moments but they prove themselves that they can be a worldwide boy band from Korea that inspire many lives.

In my opinion BTS is different from another boy band or other girl group. We can see it from their music, they produce their own music, they write their own songs. For me their songs are so inspiring me, from their melody of even the lyrics. My favorite album is Love Yourself album and Map of Soul 7. Their music video has many theories and they encourage us to think, and to make our own theories. Few group only show the choreography instead of the meaning from its own music. They all has different skill and when they combine itu together they can make such a beautiful music, and they are very creative. That’s the reason why I like BTS.
